Purpose
My name is Colby Wells, MA, CCC-SLP. I provide school districts and families with high-quality, evidence-based Speech-Language Pathology services as an independent contractor. I specialize in delivering teletherapy that supports IEP goals, fills staffing shortages, and ensures compliance with district and state requirements. For families, I offer compassionate, individualized support to help children communicate more confidently at home and in school. My role is to help meet student communication needs with flexibility, professionalism, and measurable outcomes.

Experience
I have worked in public schools, private schools, and clinical settings with students ranging from early elementary through high school. My experience includes supporting students with speech sound disorders, language disorders, stuttering, autism spectrum disorder, and AAC users. I am experienced in both in-person and remote service delivery and am comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP-driven goals, progress monitoring, and functional communication outcomes.
Education
A passion for helping others drove me down a path into a career that allows me to serve individuals in need. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Valdosta State University in Georgia and then proceeded to obtain my Master of Arts from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

Personal
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy a variety of activities that keep me active and engaged. Some of my hobbies include playing beach volleyball, kayaking, cooking, scuba diving, and reading. Traveling is also a passion of mine, I have hiked and camped my way across America as well as visited several countries in South America, Europe, and Asia.
